Al-Ahzaab 9 of 9
Believers, do not behave like those who slandered Moses. God cleared him of their allegations. He was honourable in the sight of God. 69 O Ye who believe! fear Allah, and speak a straight speech. 70 and He will set right your deeds for you and will forgive you your sins. Whosoever obeys God and His Messenger has won a mighty triumph. 71 We had offered the Trust (of divine responsibilities) to the heavens, the earth, the mountains, but they refrained from bearing the burden and were frightened of it; but man took it on himself. He is a faithless ignoramus. 72 That God may chastise the hypocrites, men and women alike, and the idolaters, men and women alike; and that God may turn again unto the believers, men and women alike. God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 73
