The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
