۞ People, you are always in need of God and God is Self-sufficient and Praiseworthy. 15 If He will, He can be rid of you and bring (instead of you) some new creation. 16 That is not a hard thing for Allah. 17 Nor can a bearer of burdens bear another's burdens if one heavily laden should call another to (bear) his load. Not the least portion of it can be carried (by the other). Even though he be nearly related. Thou canst but admonish such as fear their Lord unseen and establish regular Prayer. And whoever purifies himself does so for the benefit of his own soul; and the destination (of all) is to Allah. 18 Not alike are the blind and the seeing. 19 nor are the depths of darkness and the light; 20 Nor is the shadow equal with the sun's full heat; 21 nor are the living and the dead. God causes whom He will to hear Him, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear you. 22 You are naught but a warner. 23 Surely We have sent thee with the truth good tidings to bear, and warning; not a nation there is, but there has passed away in it a warner. 24 And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment. 25 but in the end I seized those who were bent on denying the truth and how terrible was My punishment. 26
