۞ O men, it is you who stand in need of God. As for God, He is above all need, worthy of praise. 15 If He will, He could destroy you and bring about a new creation. 16 This is well within the power of God. 17 Nor can a bearer of burdens bear another's burdens if one heavily laden should call another to (bear) his load. Not the least portion of it can be carried (by the other). Even though he be nearly related. Thou canst but admonish such as fear their Lord unseen and establish regular Prayer. And whoever purifies himself does so for the benefit of his own soul; and the destination (of all) is to Allah. 18 And the blind and the sighted are not equal! 19 Nor are (alike) the darkness (disbelief) and the light (Belief in Islamic Monotheism). 20 nor cool shade and torrid heat; 21 Equal are not the living and the dead. Verily God makes those He will to listen; but you cannot make those hear who are in their graves. 22 Thou art but a warner. 23 Verily We have sent thee in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past). 24 And if they belie thee, then surely those before them have also belied. Their apostles came unto them with evidences and scriptures and a Book luminous. 25 Then I seized the disbelievers; so how did denial My rejection turn out? 26
