۞ O men, it is you who stand in need of God. As for God, He is above all need, worthy of praise. 15 If He wills, He can take you away and bring other creatures. 16 This would not cost God dear at all. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 Not alike are the blind (disbelievers in Islamic Monotheism) and the seeing (believers in Islamic Monotheism). 19 Nor are the depths of Darkness and the Light; 20 nor cool shade and torrid heat; 21 Nor are the living equal with the dead. Lo! Allah maketh whom He will to hear. Thou canst not reach those who are in the graves. 22 Thou art naught but a warner. 23 We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner, there is no community to which a warner has not come. 24 And if they belie thee, then surely those before them have also belied. Their apostles came unto them with evidences and scriptures and a Book luminous. 25 but in the end I seized those who were bent on denying the truth and how terrible was My punishment. 26
