Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya'. Sin. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a Straight Way. 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
