Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 On a straight path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
