Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 On the Straight Path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
