Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
