When the trumpet is sounded, they will be driven out of their grave into the presence of their Lord. 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 It would be but a single blast of the trumpet, and they would all be arraigned before Us. 53 today no soul will be wronged at all; nor shall ye be requited but for that which ye have been working. 54 Surely the dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in an occupation quite happy. 55 They and their associates will be in groves of (cool) shade, reclining on Thrones (of dignity); 56 therein they have fruits, and they have all that they call for. 57 “Peace” shall be the word conveyed to them from their Merciful Lord. 58 [Then He will say], "But stand apart today, you criminals. 59 ۞ “O Descendants of Adam! Did I not take a covenant from you that you shall not worship the devil? Undoubtedly, he is your open enemy.” 60 But that ye worship Me? That was the right path. 61 But he beguiled a great many of you. Why did you not then understand? 62 This is hell which ye were promised (if ye followed him). 63 Enter into it this day because you disbelieved. 64 That Day shall We set a seal on their mouths. But their hands will speak to us, and their feet bear witness, to all that they did. 65 And had We willed, We verily could have quenched their eyesight so that they should struggle for the way. Then how could they have seen? 66 And if We listed, surely We should transform them in their places, so that they would be able neither to go forward nor to return. 67
