Whoever reaches old age, We reverse in natural disposition. Do they not have sense (to see)? 68 We have not taught him poetry; it is not seemly for him. It is only a Remembrance and a Clear Koran, 69 To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers. 70 Observe they not that We have created for them, of that which Our hands have worked, cattle: so that they are their owners. 71 We have subdued these to them, and some of them they ride and some of them they eat; 72 From cattle they get milk and other benefits. Will they not then give thanks? 73 Yet they have taken, apart from God, gods; haply they might be helped. 74 but they are not able to help them: rather they will be brought before God as their allied host. 75 Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what they do openly. 76 And did not man see that We have created him from a drop of semen? Yet he is an open quarreller! 77 And he has struck for Us a similitude and forgotten his creation; he says, 'Who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed?' 78 Say: "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life [once again,] seeing that He has full knowledge of every act of creation: 79 He Who has made for you the fire (to burn) from the green tree, so that with it you kindle (fire). 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 His command, when He desires a thing, is to say to it 'Be,' and it is. 82 Therefore glory be to Him in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things, and to Him you shall be brought back. 83

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
