If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain, 69 In order that it may warn him who is alive, and that the sentence may be justified on the infidels. 70 See they not that it is We Who have created for them - among the things which Our hands have fashioned - cattle, which are under their dominion?- 71 We have made the cattle subservient to them so they ride and consume them. 72 And therein they have advantages and drinks; will they not then be grateful? 73 They have set up other gods besides God, hoping to be helped by them, 74 They cannot help them, though they be hosts made ready for them. 75 Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what they do openly. 76 Does not man see that We created him from a drop. Yet there he is, flagrantly contentious, 77 And he propoundeth for us a similitude, and forgetteth his creation; he saith: who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed? 78 Say thou: He shall quicken them Who brought them forth for the first time, and He is of every kind of creation the Knower! 79 Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be!" and it is! 82 Therefore glory be to Him in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things, and to Him you shall be brought back. 83
