1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell); 23 And detain them, for they will be questioned." 24 What aileth you that ye help not one another? 25 indeed, on that Day they will surrender themselves. 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 "It was you who tried to mislead us from righteousness". 28 They will answer, “You yourselves did not have faith!” 29 Moreover, we had no power at all over you: nay, you were people filled with overweening arrogance! 30 So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it. 31 Thus we misled you. Lo! we were (ourselves) astray. 32 So all of them on that day are sharers in the chastisement. 33 That is how We deal with sinners. 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 Aye! he hath come with the truth, and he confesseth to the sent ones. 37 You will indeed taste a painful punishment, 38 and be rewarded only according to your deeds." 39 But for the sincere worshipers of Allah, 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 as the fruits [of their life on earth]; and honoured shall they be 42 In the Gardens of delight, 43 upon couches, set face to face, 44 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 45 White, delicious to those who drink. 46 wherein no sickness is, neither intoxication; 47 They will have with them loving wives with big black and white eyes 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 Then one turned to the other in an enquiry. 50 One of them will say: “I had a companion in the world 51 Who used to say: Art thou in truth of those who put faith (in his words)? 52 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be requited?" 53 Then he will say, "Shall we look for him?" 54 Then looketh he and seeth him in the depth of hell. 55 And he will say: by Allah, thou hadst wellnigh causedest me to perish. 56 But for the Favor of Allah I should have surely been among those who were arraigned (with you in Hell). 57 "Is it (the case) that we shall not die, 58 and that we would not be punished?" 59 Verily this is the supreme achievement! 60 For such a reward should the workers perform. 61 Is that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum? 62 Truly We have made it (as) a trail for the Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers, wrong-doers, etc.). 63 It is a tree that grows from the bottom of Hell; 64 its fruit [as repulsive] as satans' heads; 65 And verily they must eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then on the top of that they will be given boiling water to drink so that it becomes a mixture (of boiling water and Zaqqum in their bellies). 67 Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire. 68 Verily they found their fathers gone astray. 69 So in their footsteps they are being hastened on. 70 And indeed most of the men of old went astray before them; 71 And We had sent admonishers to them. 72 Then look how was the end of those who were warned - 73 Except the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah. 74

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
