1/2 Hizb 45

۞ (God will command the angels), "Gather together the unjust, their spouses, and what they had worshipped 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 Stop them. They must be questioned." 24 'But what is the matter with you that you cannot help one another?,'" 25 Nay, but on that Day they would willingly surrender [to God]; 26 but [since it will be too late,] they will turn upon one another, demanding of each other [to relieve them of the burden of their past sins]. 27 Some [of them] will say: "Behold, you were wont to approach us [deceptively] from the right!" 28 They will say, "No! It was you who would not believe -- 29 We had no power over you. In fact, you were a people rebellious. 30 Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom). 31 So then, [if it be true that] we have caused you to err grievously - behold, we ourselves had been lost in grievous error!" 32 So all of them on that day are sharers in the chastisement. 33 Surely thus do We deal with the guilty. 34 When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, 35 And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?" 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 (They will be told), "You will certainly suffer the painful torment 38 And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do - 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 Whose provision is predetermined -- 41 Fruits; and they will be honored 42 in the Gardens of Bliss. 43 Facing one another on thrones, 44 a cup from a spring being passed round to them, 45 White, delicious for the drinkers. 46 but not harmful or intoxicating. 47 And with them shall be damsels of refraining looks, large-eyed 48 (Pure) as they were hidden eggs (of the ostrich). 49 Then one turned to the other in an enquiry. 50 The speaker among them said, “I had a companion.” 51 who would say: "Are you among the believers (of the resurrection)? 52 (Do you think) we would be paid back our due when we are dead and reduced to dust and bones?' 53 He said: 'Will you look down?' 54 So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 "Is it (the case) that we shall not die, 58 Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?" 59 Lo! this is the supreme triumph. 60 For the like of it should the workers work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 It is a tree that comes forth in the root of Hell; 64 Its spathes are like the heads of satans. 65 Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Washing it down with boiling water. 67 then surely they shall return to Hell. 68 Truly they found their fathers on the wrong Path; 69 and rushed to follow them. 70 And truly before them, many of the ancients went astray;- 71 And We had already sent among them warners. 72 Then see the nature of the consequence for those warned, 73 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 74
