3/4 Hizb 45

Noah cried to Us, and how excellent was Our response! 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 and caused his offspring to endure [on earth]; 77 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times: 78 "Peace and salutation to Noah among the nations!" 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was on the self-same way (as Noah). 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 "While Allah has created you and what you make!" 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 But whereas they sought to do evil unto him, We [frustrated their designs, and thus] brought them low? 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!" He replied, "O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast." 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 We called out to him, "Abraham, 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham!' 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 And [in time] We gave him the glad tiding of Isaac, [who, too, would be] a prophet, one of the righteous; 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
