3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response: 75 We saved him and his people from the great distress, 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 80 he was among Our believing servants. 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 Thereafter they (the people) came to him in haste. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones. 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 And We ransomed him with a Feat sacrifice. 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 "Peace upon Abraham." 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 Verily he was one of Our believing bondmen. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113
