We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
