We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
