We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
