Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
