And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
