We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
