Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
