Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 And take in thine hand a handful of twigs, and strike therewith, and break not thine oath. Verily We! We found him patient. How excellent a bondman! Verily he was oft-returning. 44 And remember Our servants Ibrahim and Ishaq and Yaqoub, men of power and insight. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu al-Kifl. All were of the best. 48 This is a commemoration. Surely for those who take heed for themselves is an excellent place of return -- 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are open to them, 50 Reclining on pillows, in it they ask for fruits and drinks in plenty. 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion. 54 This is for the virtuous; and indeed for the rebellious is a wretched destination. 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 (They will be told), "This is your recompense. 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 And they say: What aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the wicked? 62 Have we taken them in mockery? Or, have our eyes swerved from them?' 63 Such, behold, will in truth be the [confusion and] mutual wrangling of the people of the fire! 64
