Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
