Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
