Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
