Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 Till the appointed day." 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
