But the godfearing shall be amidst gardens and fountains: 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They replied, "Do not be afraid. We have brought you the glad news of (the birth) of a learned son". 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 He said: what is your errand, sent ones? 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
