Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 from which you are turning away. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
