Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
