Say: "O ye my servants who believe! Fear your Lord, good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world. Spacious is Allah's earth! those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure!" 10 Say, "I am commanded to worship God and be devoted to His religion 11 I am ordered to be the first of those to be submissive (Muslims to Him)' 12 Say, "I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the punishment of a Terrible Day." 13 Say: Allah (it is Whom) I serve, being sincere to Him in my obedience: 14 So serve, apart from Him, whomsoever you please.” Say: “Behold, the real losers shall be those who will have lost their own selves and their kith and kin on the Day of Resurrection. Behold, that is the obvious loss. 15 They will have sheets of fire above them and sheets of fire beneath them." That is how God puts fear into the hearts of His servants. Fear me, then, My servants. 16 seeing that for those who shun the powers of evil lest they [be tempted to] worship them, and turn unto God instead, there is the glad tiding [of happiness in the life to come]. Give, then, this glad tiding to [those of] My servants 17 Who hearken unto the word and follow that which is the excellent thereof. These are they whom Allah hath guided, and those are men of understanding. 18 But what of him against whom the sentence of punishment is justified? Can you rescue one who is already in the Fire? 19 But it is for those who fear their Lord. That lofty mansions, one above another, have been built: beneath them flow rivers (of delight): (such is) the Promise of Allah: never doth Allah fail in (His) promise. 20 Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers] in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them [scattered] debris. Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding. 21
