And the believer said, “O my people! Follow me, I shall show you the way of righteousness.” 38 O my people, this worldly life is only [temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - that is the home of [permanent] settlement. 39 “Whoever commits an evil deed will not be repaid except to the same extent; and whoever does good deeds, whether a man or a woman, and is a Muslim, will be admitted into Paradise, in which they will receive sustenance without account.” 40 ۞ "And O my people, how is it that I summon you to salvation, the while you summon me to the fire? 41 "You invite me to disbelieve in Allah (and in His Oneness), and to join partners in worship with Him; of which I have no knowledge, and I invite you to the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving! 42 “So it is self evident that what you call me towards has no benefit being prayed to, either in this world or in the Hereafter, and that our return is towards Allah, and that the transgressors only are the people of the fire.” 43 You will remember what I say to you. I commit my affair to God; surely God sees His servants.' 44 Allah saved him from the evils that they devised, and an evil punishment encompassed Pharaoh's people. 45 the Fire, to which they shall be exposed morning and evening; and on the day when the Hour is come: 'Admit the folk of Pharaoh into the most terrible chastisement!' 46 During a dispute in the fire, the suppressed ones will say to those who had dominated them, "We were your followers. Can you now relieve us of our suffering in the fire?" 47 Those who were proud will say, “We are all in the fire – indeed Allah has already passed the judgement among the bondmen.” 48 And those who are in the fire said to its guards, “Pray to your Lord to decrease the punishment upon us for one day.” 49 They shall say: Did not your apostles come to you with clear arguments? They shall say: Yea. They shall say: Then call. And the call of the unbelievers is only in error. 50
