Seest thou not those that dispute concerning the Signs of Allah? How are they turned away (from Reality)?- 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 when fetters will be placed around their necks and chains will drag them 71 into the boiling water, then into the Fire they are poured; 72 And then they will be asked: "Where now are those [powers] to which you were wont to ascribe divinity 73 They will say, "They have been lost to us; nay, we did not invoke anything before [that had real existence]." Thus God leaves the deniers of the truth to stray; 74 That is because you exulted in the land unjustly and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter ye the gates of hell, to dwell therein. Evil is the habitation of the scornful. 76 So be patient (O Muhammad SAW), verily, the Promise of Allah is true, and whether We show you (O Muhammad SAW in this world) some part of what We have promised them, or We cause you to die, then it is to Us they all shall be returned. 77 Before your time We sent other messengers: of them there are some whose story We have related to you, and some whose story We have not related to you. It was not [possible] for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of God: but when the command of God was issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice. There and then, those who stood on falsehoods perished. 78
