In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ha Mim! 1 A revelation from Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 2 a Book whose revelations are well expounded, an Arabic Quran for people who possess knowledge, 3 proclaiming good news and a warning. Yet most of them turn away and so do not listen. 4 And they say: Our hearts are protected from that unto which thou (O Muhammad) callest us, and in our ears there is a deafness, and between us and thee there is a veil. Act, then. Lo! we also shall be acting. 5 Proclaim, "Physically I am a human like you - I receive the divine revelation that your God is only One God, therefore be upright towards Him and seek forgiveness from Him"; and woe is to the polytheists. - 6 who do not pay zakat and have no faith in the life to come. 7 [But,] verily, they who have attained to faith and do good works shall have a reward unending! 8
