(It will be said to the true believers of Islamic Monotheism): My worshippers! No fear shall be on you this Day, nor shall you grieve, 68 (Ye) who believed Our revelations and were self-surrendered, 69 Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness. 70 To them will be passed round, dishes and goblets of gold: there will be there all that the souls could desire, all that their eyes could delight in: and ye shall abide therein (for eye). 71 This is the Paradise which you have received as your inheritance by virtue of what you have done. 72 For you therein are many fruits of which you shall eat. 73 [But,] behold, they who are lost in sin shall abide in the suffering of hell: 74 It shall not be abated from them and they shall therein be despairing. 75 And it is not We who will be doing wrong unto them, but it is they who will have wronged themselves. 76 They will call (to the keeper of Hell-gate): "O Malik, let your Lord decide our fate." He will answer: "You are to stay." 77 We have brought to you the truth, but most of you despise the truth. 78 Why - can they [who deny the truth ever] determine what [the truth] should be? 79 Do they think that We do not hear their secrets and whispers? We certainly can hear them and Our Messengers record it all. 80 Say thou: had the Compassionate a son, I shall be the first of his worshippers. 81 Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority)! (He is free) from the things they attribute (to him)! 82 Let them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they are promised. 83 It is He (Allah) Who is the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) in the heaven and the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) on the earth. And He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower. 84 Exaltations to Him to whom belong the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them! With Him is the knowledge of the Hour and to Him you shall be returned. 85 And those whom they invoke instead of Him have no power of intercession; except those who bear witness to the truth (i.e. believed in the Oneness of Allah, and obeyed His Orders), and they know (the facts about the Oneness of Allah). 86 Yet if you ask them: 'Who created you' they will say: 'Allah' How then can they turn away from Him? 87 The Prophet has said, "Lord! Truly they are a people who do not believe." 88 Therefore excuse them and proclaim, “Peace”; for they will soon come to know. 89
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Vanity (Al-Zukhruf). Sent down in Mecca after Consultation (Al-Shooraa) before Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
