Q (Qaaf)

Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 But nay - they deem it strange that a warner should have come unto them from their own midst; and so these deniers of the truth are saying, "A strange thing is this! 2 What, when we are dead and turned to dust? That indeed would be an unlikely return' 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 A vision and a reminder for every penitent slave. 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered spathes; 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 As did the people of 'Ad and Pharaoh and the brethren of Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the wooded dales [of Madyan,] and the people of Tubba: they all gave the lie to the apostles - and thereupon that whereof I had warned [them] came true. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
