And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 When the two (angels) who keep the account, one sitting on the right, one on the left, take it down, 17 Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. 18 And the hardship of death came with the truth; “This is what you were escaping from!” 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His companion will say: O our Lord! caused him not to transgress but he was himself in error far off. 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence. I had warned you. 28 "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 29
