Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the winds that scatter the dust far and wide, 1 And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water] 2 by the ships which smoothly sail on the oceans, 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 indeed, that which you are promised is true, 5 and, verily, judgment is bound to come! 6 I swear by the heaven full of ways. 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 they who blunder along, in ignorance lost 11 They ask: “When will the Day of Judgement be?” 12 It will be the Day when they shall be scourged by the Fire 13 [and will be told:] "Taste this your trial! It is this that you were so hastily asking for!" 14 The pious ones will live amidst gardens and springs, 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 they would lie asleep during but a small part of the night, 17 and in the mornings they would ask for forgiveness; 18 And the beggar and the destitute had a share in their wealth. 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 And in your own souls (too); will you not then see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
