And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
