And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
