We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
