Therefore continue to remind, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer, or a madman. 29 Or do they say: 'He is a poet, we are waiting for some misfortune to befall him' 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Nay! do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people? 32 Do they say: “He has himself fabricated the Qur'an?” No; the truth is that they are altogether averse to believing. 33 Then let them produce speech the like thereof, if they are truthful. 34 Were they created out of nothing, or are they their own creators? 35 Have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact, they have no strong faith. 36 Or are thy Lord's treasuries in their keeping? Or are they the registrars? 37 Or do they have any stairs, climbing upon which they eavesdrop? So their eavesdropper should bring some clear proof! 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? 40 Or possess they the Unseen so that they can write (it) down? 41 Or are they planning a conspiracy? So the conspiracy will befall only upon the disbelievers. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him). 43 And were they to see a portion of the sky falling, they will say, “It is a heap of clouds.” 44 So leave them alone until they encounter that Day of theirs when they shall be struck down, 45 The Day when their guile shall not relieve them a thing, and they shall not be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment (i.e. the torment in this world and in their graves) before this, but most of them know not. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 36]. 47 Be patient, then, (O Prophet), until the judgement of your Lord comes. For surely you are before Our eyes. And celebrate the praise of your Lord when you rise, 48 And glorify Him in the night and when the stars begin to wane. 49
