Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad. 29 Or do they say:- "A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by Time!" 30 Say thou: "Await ye!- I too will wait along with you!" 31 Nay! do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people? 32 Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! 33 Then let them produce speech the like thereof, if they are truthful. 34 Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? 35 Have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact, they have no strong faith. 36 Are with them the treasures of thy Lord! or are they the dispensers? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or does Allah have daughters whereas you have sons? 39 Or do you ask them for a reward, so that they are overburdened by a debt? 40 Or do they have knowledge of the Unknown which they write down? 41 Do they want to hatch some plot? Those who deny the truth will be the victims of the plot. 42 Have they, then, any deity other than God? Utterly remote is God, in His limitless glory, from anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 43 Were they to see a piece of the sky falling (on them), they would (only) say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 So leave them alone until they encounter that Day of theirs when they shall be struck down, 45 A day in which their guile will naught avail them, nor will they be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not. 47 Await the judgement of your Lord, for you are always before Our eyes, and glorify your Lord with praises when you rise, 48 And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars. 49
