Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
