Prostration

Didst thou (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away, 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
