Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 while you make merry? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
