Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
