Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
