To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 There shall come a Day when they will be dragged on their faces into the Fire and will be told: “Now taste the flame of Hell.” 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
